HMCA celebrates Easter

Hastings Malayalee Cultural Association celebrated this years Easter with the message from Mr Thomas followed by the traditional Easter lunch. The program was held at St Thomas Church Hall on Easter Sunday 23rd March 2008 at around 1pm after the Holly Communion at St Thomas Catholic church. Many HMCA members attended the celebration.

Another fun day for HMCA members

Hastings Malayalee Cultural Association organises a one day picnic to Canterbury on Friday 29th August 2008.

The day long picnic will start from St John's Church junction at 9.30am. Members are advised to organise their own transport. Sight seeing, Cathedral visit and visits of some important centres in Canterbury are included in the trip. Families are requested to carry their packed lunch, soft drinks, snacks etc. Breaks will be provided for food and enjoyment during the picnic. Please be ready to buy tickets at the entrance. HMCA arranges special discounts for entrance at various visiting places. The picnic is free to all members as expenses are met by individuals. Expected return to Hastings is 4.30pm.

HMCA General Body on 14th Septemebr

Next genergal body meeting of HMCA will be held on Sunday 14th September 2008 at St Thomas Church Hall at 5pm. All members are requested to attend the meeting. New executive committee will be elected during the occasion. The decision was made during the excutive committee meeting held on 8th August 2008.

A Day For Enjoyment and Fun

Hastings Malayalee Cultural Association members enjoyed their maximum in the thrilling trip to The Isle of Wight. All participants of the trip lodged the luxury coach before 7am and the trip started exactly at 7am. Members had a lot of fun with in the coach until they have reached Portsmouth harbour. The ferry to the island was a new experience for everybody. The whole day was spent in the Blackgang Chine Theme Park of the island. Children and adults had a lot of thrill in the theme park. The return trip started at around 4pm and the day was memorable to every participants.
